Fort Worth Store Sells $1 Million Lottery Ticket

A convenience store in Fort Worth sold a lottery ticket worth $1 million dollars, according to the Texas Lottery website.

Mr. Jake's Food Mart at 1066 Forest Park Blvd. sold one of two $1 million tickets sold in Texas. The other ticket was sold in Austin.

The ticket won after Wednesday night's drawing, getting 5 out of 5 numbers correct, but not the Powerball.

The winning numbers are 3-23-31-34-47. The Powerball was 13.

The Powerball was worth $216 million and was won out of state.

No one immediately came forward laying claim to the prize.

Inside the store, employees were thrilled to learn about the winner.

"I'm pretty excited that we sold the million dollar ticket," said employee Ricky Kamaria. "That will change someone's life. I'm excited and looking forward to meeting that customer."

The store will also get a check for selling the winning ticket.
