Medstar confirms to NBC 5 that 14 adults and six children were treated after complaining of a strong odor at Diamond Hill Elementary School. Four of the adults were transported to a nearby hospital.

According to a spokesman for Fort Worth ISD, construction crews were using a gasoline powered cutting tool outside of a building on campus. It was not determined if fumes from the tool caused anyone to get sick. However, the tool will not be used for the remainder of the day.

School officials opened up doors to air out the buildings and everyone has returned inside.
