Fort Worth is once again going purple to support the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs.

The Frogs baseball team earned their first trip to the NCAA College World Series with a 2-1 series win over the Texas Longhorns last weekend.

Starting Friday, Mayor Mike Moncrief is asking everyone to wear purple all weekend to show support for the hometown team.

The fourth-ranked Frogs will face Florida State in the first game of the CWS on Saturday.

The first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
