Fort Worth Fugitive Bites, Stabs Man, Considered ‘Armed & Dangerous': Police

Fort Worth police are asking for help tracking down a fugitive they say attacked one person and may have stolen two vehicles.

According to police a man identified David Allen Seymour was seen Sept. 4 along North Beach Street asking for a ride to the Stockyards.

One driver refused, but later ended up seeing Seymour again at a nearby 7-Eleven. As he tried to pull out of the parking lot, Seymour jumped in front of his vehicle forcing him to go around, police said.

Later, the driver saw Seymour a third time and confronted him. According to police, the driver said Seymour bit him on the shoulder, stabbed him in the arm and then drove away in his 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT.

A few hours later, in Grayson County, Collinsville police spotted the stolen car and tried get the driver to pull over. The drive refused and led officers on a "lengthy" chase.

Once the chase ended, Seymour was arrested and turned over to a hospital in Sherman after showing signs of a drug overdose, Fort Worth police said.

Seymour, who left the hospital on Sept. 6, is now presumed to be driving a stolen white 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck was reported stolen from the hospital parking lot, police said. The pickup has Texas plates FPZ-4523, though police suspect the license plates may have been changed since the theft.

Seymour is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs about 175 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. "At the time of the truck theft, he had a slight ‘Mohawk’ stripe on the center of his head and may have the name ‘Seymour’ tattooed on his abdomen," police said.

Police added Seymour is homeless and has a criminal history in South Carolina, Alabama and Texas. He is to be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call 817-392-4469.
