Former Arlington Man Faces Child Porn, Abuse Charges in Oklahoma

Oklahoma investigators searching for potential victims in Texas

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has arrested a former Arlington man on multiple charges of sexual abuse of a child and for the production and distribution of child pornography.

In September, agents with the OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children Unit arrested 51-year-old Robert Wayne Farrill at his Okmulgee, Okla., home.

Officials found hundreds of images of child porn on his computer, including 18 pornographic videos and more than 60 pornographic images of nine boys.

So far, agents have identified six of the victims.

OSBI officials said Farrill lived in the Arlington area from July 1990 to November 1991 and was at one time a security guard at Arlington schools as well as a karate teacher. Investigators are curious if any of his the man's victims may include people from North Texas.

Even if the statute of limitations has expired, investigators are working to identify the remaining three victims and said it's possible they could be from the Arlington area.

Farrill has been booked into the Okmulgee County Jail and is being held without bond.

If anyone has information that could help identify any of Farrill’s victims, please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
