Forensic Artist Reconstructs Face From Remains Found March 20

Fort Worth police need help identifying a woman whose remains were found in a field west of the 7300 block of Calmont Avenue on March 20.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office brought in a forensic artist to create a clay facial reconstruction of the woman.

The medical examiner released the following biological profile based on the remains:

  • Hispanic female
  • Stature 4'9" to 5'4"
  • Age 21-35 years (more likely 25-35)
  • Slender build
  • Long brown hair 13 inches, layered and wavy

Police say on March 20 a citizen found a skull found in an open field. When investigators arrived they discovered remains in a shallow grave.

Police believe the woman may have been missing anywhere from six months to five years.

Investigators are not releasing the cause of death.

A reward up to $1,000 will be offered to anyone who provides a tip that leads to an arrest for the crime or clearing the case.
