High water forced police to close Farm-to-Market Road 2499 in Flower Mound early Friday morning. [[355675381,C]]
Officers closed the road between Enterprise Drive and Lakeside Parkway before 3:45 a.m., according to Flower Mound Police Department Captain Wess Griffin.
As of 5:30 a.m., one northbound lane had been reopened. All the southbound lanes remained closed.
Authorities said they're concerned about the high water in the area as Black Friday shoppers make their way to the nearby Grapevine Mills Mall.
