After a delay last week, Flower Mound will install a new section of water pipe on Tuesday.
The installation will result in no water service between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. for residents west of High Road.
In all, about 600 homes are affected.
Once the service is restored, residents will need to boil their water until tests reveal there are no contaminants in the water system -- which could last until 4 p.m. Thursday.
