Flooded Supply Line Forces Patients Out of Emergency Room

Patients needing emergency care forced to visit other hospital

A flooded supply closet is forcing emergency room patients out of the Denton Regional Medical Center.

A water supply line ruptured Tuesday night, flooding a supply closet at the hospital. Until the supplies are restocked, the hospital is diverting new emergency room patients to other ERs.

None of the existing patients had to be moved.

The hospital hopes to resume normal operations early Wednesday afternoon.
