Firefighters Rescue Man From Apt. Fire

Dallas firefighters rescued a man from an apartment fire in Dallas Friday morning.

The fire started at about 6:25 a.m. at the Jacry Apartments on the 3000 block of Bonnie View Road.

Firefighters arrived to smoke showing at an upstairs unit. They pulled man out of the building and paramedics rushed him to Parkland Hospital in critical condition.

Firefighters contained the flames at about 6:45 a.m.

The fire was contained to the bedroom of the apartment, according to firefighters.

Investigators are determining the cause of the fire.
