North Richland Hills House Fire Injures One

    One person was injured in a morning house fire in North Richland Hills Thursday morning, fire crews said.

    The fire started around 6:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of Windhaven Road. When firefighters arrived, there was heavy smoke coming through the roof. 

    One person was outside the home and suffering from burns. He was taken to Parkland Hospital. His condition is unknown.

    Fire crews say the house is a total loss.

    The fire marshall is looking for signs of where the fire started.

    No one else was injured and the fire was contained to the home.
