Firefighter Dies After Being Found Unresponsive

Press conference scheduled for Thursday afternoon

A Dallas Firefighter has died after he was found unresponsive Thursday morning.

Reports show 35-year-old Chris Pham was at Station 49, located at 4901 South Hampton Road, when someone at the station found him unconscious.

He was transported from the station to Charlton Methodist Hospital where he later died.

Fire officials are not releasing any details regarding the firefighter's death. They will only say he was not fighting a fire when incident occurred.

Pham had been a member of Dallas Fire-Rescue since September 21, 2006.
