Fire officials say an IHOP restaurant in South Texas was a total loss after a fire.
Firefighters arrived Monday evening at the McAllen restaurant and found everyone inside had been evacuated.
Firefighters had to go into defensive mode "after realizing it was too dangerous to keep men inside."
It's not clear what sparked the fire, but investigators know it began in the attic.
No one was hurt.
