Investigators are looking into what started a fire at a popular Plano sports bar overnight Monday.
Firefighters were called to the Austin Avenue Grill and Sports Bar along the 900 block of West Parker Road at about 10:20 p.m.
Firefighter said the arrived to find heavy flames and smoke coming from the building's roof and needed multiple units to extinguish the blaze.
The roof eventually collapsed and the building was destroyed.
The owner of the sports bar was inside the restaurant when the fire broke out, but was able to escape without injury.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
