Fire Damages Vacant Dallas Home: Firefighters

Dallas firefighters doused a fire at a vacant home early Wednesday morning, Dallas Fire-Rescue says.

Nearly two dozen firefighters were called to the home on the 1300 block of Lotus Drive at about 3:30 a.m.

Firefighters were confronted with heavy smoke and large flames at the one-story home.  After battling the fire for more than two hours, firefighters were able to smother all of the flames by about 6 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
