Police say three people have died after a fiery head-on crash in Forney early Saturday morning.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m., a black Ford Edge SUV was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 80, near Farm to Market Road 460 when it collided with a red Mercury sedan, said Kyle Bradford, Texas DPS spokesman.
The drivers, Thomas Rutledge, driving the Ford, and Alfonso Flores, driving the Sable, were both pronounced dead on the scene.
The passenger inside the SUV, Gina Longshore, was taken to a nearby hospital, but died from her injuries, Bradford said.
Investigators could not say whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
