Drivers are being forced off the highway near the Texas-Oklahoma Border.

KTEN-TV, the local NBC television station which covers the Sherman-Denison area, reports the driver of an 18-wheeler hit an overpass while heading Northbound on U.S. Highway 75 at the Red River.

The truck caught fire, forcing the highway to be shutdown.

Police are now rerouting traffic on both sides of the highway.

The semi-truck driver was not injured in the accident.
