Police say a man was rushed to the hospital after being shot by his stepfather inside a Haltom City home late Tuesday.
Police were called to the home on Little Fossil Road at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
A preliminary investigation revealed a 59-year-old father shot his 30-year-old stepson after an argument, said Detective Ray Beshirs, a Haltom City police spokesman.
According to Beshirs, the stepson, who was not identified, was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. He was expected to recover from his injuries.
The father was arrested at the home. Police did not release information on charges.
