Dallas police said a fatal collision involving two 18-wheelers and a motorcycle shut down Interstate 30 for several hours Tuesday morning. [[312001791,C]]
Authorities confirmed they closed eastbound I-30 before Lamar Street following the crash just before 4 a.m. The section of interstate reopened just before 8 a.m.
Dallas County Sheriff's Office spokesman Raul Reyna said one of the 18-wheelers ran over the motorcycle driver after the motorcyclist lost control and crashed. The body was found near the rear tires of one of the 18-wheelers.
Crews removed the vehicles involved in the crash by 5:15 a.m. A hazmat team finished cleaning the road just after 7:45 a.m.
