One person was killed Friday in an early-morning crash along Interstate 635 south of Oates in Mesquite.
Mesquite police said a driver crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler and was pronounced dead after being transported to an area hospital.
The person's identity or what led to the crash has not yet been released.
No other injuries were reported.
