A crash that killed one woman caused major traffic backups in downtown Dallas.
The crash happened around 5 a.m. in the 2400 block of north Interstate 35E, the Stemmons Freeway. Police say a car was heading south at a high speed and lost control. The car drove off the roadway and hit a tree.
Two others inside the car were in critical condition and taken to the hospital.
All lanes have now reopened.
