Fort Worth Police Looking for Serial Burglary Suspects

Two men have burglarized at least three high-end stores across DFW

Fort Worth police are asking for the public's help tracking down a group of serial burglars.

In the last few weeks at least two men have been targeting high-end stores in Dallas, Euless and Fort Worth.

The burglaries happen in the middle of the night when no one is working or around, but police are concerned with the aggressive nature of the break-ins.

The Ulta Beauty store in Euless, on Rio Grand Boulevard, is in the midst of its grand opening celebrations. But on Sunday morning employees arrived at work to see the damage left behind from an overnight burglary.

Two men broke in and stole thousands of dollars worth of men's cologne. Both men wore gloves, and one wore a surgical mask while the other appeared to have a T-shirt over his face.

"They're pretty much targeting the stores after closing time, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.," said Fort Worth Police Officer Daniel Segura.

The burglary in Euless happened around 3:10 a.m. Sunday, per a Euless police crime report.

That's about 40 minutes after the same two men were suspected of breaking into a J.C. Penney store at Alliance Town Center, which is 19 miles away in Fort Worth.

On Thursday afternoon, the door the suspects broke through remained boarded up.

"They are using a large piece of concrete to pretty much break the window open or the front door, they run into the store, then they go grab jewelry, perfume, watches," Segura said.

They then get away in a red vehicle, which was captured on surveillance footage at one of the burglaries. The vehicle is a sedan, although it's unclear exactly what make and model it may be.

Police said the men don't spend much time inside, grabbing only what they can carry before taking off. The men haven't run into anyone in the course of the burglaries, but investigators are concerned with what could happen if they did.

"When they have the courage to go through all this trouble and if they encounter an employee or security guard we don't know what could happen," Segura said.

Police said employees should keep an eye out for the suspect vehicle, especially during closing time as the suspects may be watching the stores.

The third confirmed store burglarized by this group is a Nordstrom in Dallas.

Fort Worth police are working with other agencies in Euless and Dallas to catch the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call 817-392-4622. If someone sees suspicious activity, they should call 911.
