Once again, Fort Worth Independent School District has proposed a resolution asking employees to resign or retire early in an effort to save money.

If the resolution passes, employees who retire early can receive up to ten percent of their annual salary.

The district is hoping 700 employees, including teachers, will welcome the offer.

School board members are expected to approve the plan Tuesday.
