After weeks of severe flooding in North Texas, The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be opening visiting centers across the state to help provide relief and answer any questions of those impacted by the floods.
Information about disaster assistance programs will be provided at the centers by representatives from FEMA and the Small Business Administration. Those who have already applied for federal disaster recovery assistance will also be able to check the status of their application.
The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is July 28.
FEMA will be providing assistance at the following centers this week:
Cooke County:
- Cooke County Courthouse Annex
112 S. Dixon Street, Gainesville
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and July 13-18
Dallas County:
- Lake Highlands North Recreational Center
9940 White Rock Trail, Dallas
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday - Walnut Hill Recreation Center
10011 Midway Road, Dallas
2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday - Coppell Fire Station No. 3 Fire Training Center
133 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday
Denton County:
- Carrollton City Hall
1945 E. Jackson Road, Carrollton
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday - Krum City Hall Council Chambers
146 W. McCart Street, Krum
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday
