Equusearch Suspends Search for Missing Fort Worth Woman

Texas Equusearch is suspending its search for 23-year-old Christina Morris until more leads are developed.

Morris, who is from Fort Worth, was last seen walking to her car at the Shops at Legacy in Plano Aug. 30. Surveillance video shows Morris entering the parking garage, but never getting to her car. Investigators later found her car where she had last parked it.

After using horseback, ATVs and searching on foot, specialized Houston-based Equusearch said they weren’t able to find any clues in Morris’ disappearance.

The non-profit group also received special permission to launch drones Sept. 11. That permission was good through Monday, but Texas Equusearch grounded the drones.

On the group’s website, Texas Equusearch said this is just a suspension of the search – not a termination.

Morris’ family has been in Plano searching for their daughter. They have been joined by many volunteers in the community.
