The Dallas Homicide Unit is asking people to help them identify the car and driver in a video that could solve a weekend murder.
Police said Jose Hernandez Ibarra was shot and killed on Friday in the parking lot of the Taqueria El Paisano restaurant around 3 a.m.
A video from a surveillance camera at 2911 Lombardy Lane shows a car driving to the rear side of the parking lot of the restaurant where Ibarra was fatally shot.
Witnesses told police that the light-colored compact vehicle left the parking lot right after the shooting.
The motive behind the killing is unknown at the time.
Police believe the person driving the car may have information of or involvement in the murder. Anyone who knows more about the car or the driver can call Detective Steve David at 214-283-4834.
