Earthquake Shakes North Texas On Saturday

On Saturday afternoon, residents of Parker County felt an earthquake, the strongest one in a string of tremblors since the first of November.

The US Geological Survey confirms a Magnitude 3.0 earthquake happened at 1:54 p.m. The epicenter is two miles south of Springtown and eight miles west, northwest of Azle.

There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

Here are some of the other recent earthquakes:

November 9 1:54 p.m.: Magnitude 3.0 south of Springtown

November 8 10:32 p.m.: Magnitude 2.9 Near Springtown

November 6 11:05 a.m.: Magnitude 2.7 near Springtown

November 5 9:32 p.m.:  Magnitude 2.6 east-southeast of Reno

November 1 4:57 p.m.: Magnitude 2.1 east-northeast of Richland Hills
