Earthquake Rocks North Texas Late Saturday Night

The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed that a Magnitude 2.8 earthquake shook parts of Wise, Parker and Tarrant counties at 10:54 p.m. Saturday night.

The epicenter is one mile south-southwest of Springtown and nine miles west-northwest of Azle.

There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

There was a quake Friday night near Whitesboro.
