Earthquake Felt Friday in Johnson County

Quake is at least the 11th felt this year

On Friday night, the United States Geological Survey recorded another earthquake in Johnson County.

The quake was felt at about 9:30 p.m. and registered as a magnitude 2.2.

The epicenter of the earthquake was between Cleburne and Burleson. The area has become a hotbed of sorts for seismic activity.  This year alone, there have now been at least 11 earthquakes reported in that part of Johnson County.

Last month, three quakes were felt in the span of one week -- the highest magnitude was 2.7.

There have been no reports of any injuries.
