Dallas police are investigating a reported drowning at an apartment pool.
According to police, witnesses said they were sitting in the pool area of the Regal Court Apartments on the 5800 block of Preston View Boulevard when they noticed a man who had been swimming alone floating in the water.
The witnesses called 911 while another jumped into the pool and pulled the man out of the water.
The man was taken to Medical City Hospital in Dallas where he was pronounced deceased. He had no visible injuries and his cause of death has not yet been confirmed by the Dallas County medical examiner.
The man's name will be released following the notification of his death to family.
