Police say a man was shot in the leg while trying to smash another man's windshield late Tuesday evening.
Arlington police were called to an apartment community in the 3500 block of Willowood Circle just after 11 p.m.
According to police, a man was in his SUV when another man began smashing his windshield with a large rock. The driver of the SUV then shot the man and then drove to another location where he called 911, police said.
Police told NBCDFW the man who was shot was recovering in a nearby hospital Wednesday morning.
Investigators did not release information regarding potential charges. The names of the two men involved were not released.
