A man is dead after slamming his car into a church on the 2900 block of Cedardale Road in South Dallas Friday afternoon.
The driver, 36-year-old David Clyde Jones, plowed through the side of a homeowner's fence, drove through the backyard, went out the other side of the fence and slammed into the side of New Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Jones died at the scene.
No word yet on any other injuries.
