Police said a driver led them on a high-speed chase through Dallas overnight before abandoning the vehicle in Deep Ellum.
Dallas police said they tried to stop the driver of a black Dodge pickup truck for speeding near Interstate 30 and Edgefield Avenue at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday. [[323406971,C]]
After reaching speeds that exceeded 100 mph, police said they lost site of the truck a short time later on Gaston Avenue.
Authorities said they found the vehicle later near July alley and Elm Street. Police ran the truck's license plate, which indicated it had been stolen.
Police said the driver is still at large.
