A driver was sent to the hospital early Thursday morning after a fiery crash on Texas Highway 183 in Irving.
According to police, the driver was speeding in westbound lanes of 183, near the Texas Highway 114 split.
The driver lost control, smashing into a median divider, police said. The driver was ejected through the windshield before the car caught fire.
The driver, who was not immediately identified, was taken to Parkland Hospital. The condition of the driver was not released.
