A wrong-way driver is behind bars after crashing into a police car overnight Saturday.
According to Dallas police, the driver slammed into the police car while going the wrong way down Hampton near 12th Street.
The driver then sped off before ditching the car. He was found a short time later and placed under arrest.
The police officer was hospitalized and is expected to be OK.
