A Denton County Sheriff's Deputy has shot a man after a traffic stop.
The incident happened on FM 1173 in Krum after a deputy tried to make a traffic stop.
According to Public Information Officer Tom Reedy, two men were in the car that tried to ram either the deputy or the deputy's vehicle.
The deputy fired and hit the driver. Both the driver and the passenger are now in police custody.
The injured driver is being airlifted to a hospital.
