One of the three injured in collapse still listed in critical condition.

Denton city leaders are asking all apartment complexes to inspect balconies after a weekend collapse injured three men.

A Juliet balcony at the Grove Apartments gave way early Saturday while three men were standing on it smoking cigarettes.

One of the men remains in critical condition while the other two have been upgraded to fair condition, according to the Denton Record Chronicle.

Management spokeswoman Chasstity Brown said that the balcony was meant to be decorative and not weight-bearing.
