I had such a great night Saturday night with Make-a-Wish North Texas. I was honored to host their "Delicious Wishes" night at Noah's Event Center in Plano.
Restaurants from all over North Texas were there to provide the dinner, and the speakers included several children who have had wishes granted. The event also raised a ton of money for the charity, and a good time was had by all.
Last week we got to talk to Ellie Slate. The 13 year old had one wished granted when she got to go to Atlantis. She felt like she got another one granted when she was asked to help one of the chefs prepare for the big night. We thought we'd share her interview with you in its entirety.
