Deion Sanders' Prime Prep Academy has until the end of the day to appeal the school's closure.
The Texas Education Agency wants to revoke the school's charter for financial problems and mismanagement. The charter school, co-founded by the former Dallas Cowboys player, had until Wednesday to file the appeal.
The Dallas Morning News reports if the academy does not appeal, the TEA will take the next steps and begin an internal review process.
That process should take about a month.
