Pups need a break in tough economic times too -- well, at least maybe your grooming costs do.  The Wuf Pet Resort and Spa is offering 50 percent off a doggie's first groom job or day care and 25 percent off all clothing, leads and collars.

Emeritus at Oak Hollow, a senior living community, is beginning a complimentary community outreach program where they will make home visits to local seniors who may need a little assistance.  The facilities staff members will help seniors connect with services in the area, conduct wellfare checks for families or just have a friendly visit.  Care options begin at $10 per hour.  For more details, please contact Peggy Garrett at 817-267-6200.
