Students and faculty evacuated J.O. Davis Elementary in Irving Independent School District after a gas leak was detected.

Students and faculty evacuated J.O. Davis Elementary in Irving Independent School District after a gas leak was detected.

The school sits at 310 Davis Drive in Irving.

Two fire trucks were seen at the school. Early reports said emergency crews will use equipment to blow gas out of the building.

No students were seen outside the building around 10:50 a.m., when Chopper 5 arrived on the scene.
