The Dallas Zoo is calling a do-over.

After heavy rain ruined Dollar Day on July 19, the zoo decided to schedule a second one on Aug. 19.

Admission to the zoo on Dollar Day is, you guessed it, $1.  Hot dogs are also only $1 during Dollar Day.  Regularly, admission to the zoo is $15 for adults and $12 for children and seniors.

Breaking an attendance record is always a possibility during Dollar days. With thousands of guests expected to visit, Aug. 19, guests are encouraged to ride DART's Red Line direct to the zoo to avoid traffic delays and an $8 parking fee.
