A Dallas teen is in serious condition Wednesday morning after she was shot in the stomach.

Officers arrived at a south Oak Cliff home on the 5700-block of Bellcrest Drive after receiving a call just after 2:30 a.m.

Police said some teens were hanging out, playing videos games when bullets flew into the home. At least one shot pierced a wall or window and hit a sleeping 14-year-old girl, Serenity Johnson, in the stomach, according to authorities.

By the time the teens realized what happened, the car was gone, according to officials.

Investigators found shell casings on the street and said it looked like the car stopped, opened fire and sped away.

Authorities don’t have any information about the shooter(s) or why the home was targeted.

    Investigators are searching for clues.

Johnson was taken to Baylor Medical Center after the shooting where doctors removed the bullet from her stomach. She is in recovery and is expected to survive.
