Before classes let out for the summer, the Dallas Independent School District is letting students know when to return to school.
The district released the 2013-2014 calendar Monday, which lists Aug. 26 as the first day of their 178 instructional days before the end of the school year on June 5, 2014.
Teachers will begin the school year a few days before, on Aug. 19.
Class times are as follows:
- 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. (elementary school)
- 8:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. (middle school)
- 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (high school)
- 9:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. (Skyline/Townview)
