Cedar Hill police said they arrested a 23-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department early Saturday morning.
Sr. Cpl. Doreen Sotelo-Celedon is accused of driving while intoxicated, authorities said.
In a press release, Dallas police said Sotelo-Celedon is assigned to the South Central Patrol Division.
The department's Internal Affairs Division is investigating the case. The officer is on administrative leave.
