Dallas police are searching for a gunman after a late-night shooting sent a man in a minivan to the hospital.
Police said a man and woman in a minivan were driving down the street in the 4500 block of Spring Avenue when a man fired into their vehicle.
The man in the minivan was struck in the back, the woman was not injured.
The victims drove a short distance to the Frazier Court Projects in the 4800 block of Hatcher Street and called 911.
The man was taken to the hospital an is in stable condition. Police are searching for the gunman and are trying to determine the motive.
