Dallas police said they arrested a 21-year-old man who admitted to accidentally fatally shooting a teen.
On July 15, Eric Romero was taken in a private vehicle to Baylor University Medical Center where he died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.
Officials said homicide detectives identified Juanito Molina as a suspect and interviewed him. On Tuesday, Molina admitted to accidentally shooting Romero and taking him to the hospital.
Police said they arrested Molina and charged him with criminal negligent homicide. He remains in jail on 15,000 bond.
