Dallas Police Investigate Recording Studio Shooting

Dallas Police are investigating an early morning shooting in Deep Ellum.

Police responded just before 6 a.m. to reports of shots fired at a recording studio in the 2800 block of Main Street.

According to police, people were inside the studio working when someone rang the bell or knocked on the door.

Before someone inside could open the door a single shot was fired through the glass door striking someone inside.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police crime scene documented the damage, before officers left the scene around 7 a.m.

No motive or suspect description has been given as of yet.

The building houses two recording studios, with the one in question called Legacy.

The door way glass was shattered with a visible bullet hole on Wednesday morning.
