Dallas narcotics officers were serving a warrant at a home in the 2100 block of Chatham Square Court at 8:54 p.m. When the officers approached the front door, authorities said shots were fired.

"The situation then was treated as a barricaded person incident," Dallas Police Department Deputy Chief Thomas Castro said.

A SWAT team and Dallas Fire-Rescue were called in to assist, according to Castro.

Eventually, police said they took the three people into custody without incident.

No officers were injured, according to authorities.

Police said they blocked off back roads into the area during the incident as well as a section of Masters Drive from Shelburne Drive to Bruton Road.

Additional details have not yet been confirmed.
