The Dallas Police helicopter, Air One, discovered a marijuana grow operation in Southeast Dallas on Friday, Oct. 13.
Dallas Narcotics Division with the assistance of Air One, the Southeast Bike Unit and the Dallas Fire Department Swift Water Team handled the removal of more than 179 pounds of marijuana plants.
Approximately 2,000 plants were dismantled and are set to be destroyed.
Air One has previously worked on recovering stolen cars, looking for missing persons, as well as assist officers on ground.
